Updated Sigma Photo Pro 2.1 Software Available

Sigma Japan has posted an update to their software used with the SD-9 and SD-10
digital SLR cameras. The new Photo Pro 2.1 software feature improvements are as follows:
  1. Auto WB always available as an option in Edit White Balance.
  2. Monochrome processing as a WB option, which allows tinting via Color Adjust.
"Original" WB sets WB back to as-shot.[/*]
  3. Show focal-length range in Info Window's focal length field, e.g. as "28mm (15-30)"
  4. Info Window improvements (smaller layout, original white balance, long pathnames).
  5. Info Line improvements (added WB to Review Window info line, and metering mode with bias to both windows' info lines)
  6. Improved Auto White Balance calculation, especially for long exposures.
  7. SD9-specific highlights color problem fixed.
  8. SD10-specific purple-fringe problem fixed.

There are strong rumours that the new version of SPP (v2.2) that will bereleased at the same time as the SD14 will not open SD9 or SD10 RAW files and visa versa.

So if you were hoping for an upgrade to 2.1, you may be dissapointed.

as i said on dpreview that would be really stupid and alienate people who dicide to get the SD14 and keep their SD9 or 10 as a backup camera or second body.
