Does anyone know if Sony is possibly creating a firmware update for AE Bracketing. The current Bracketing is worthless for HDR photography and while I can do it manually I was hoping Sony would give us an update that is on par with Canon, Nikon ....

But after chatting with someone online and then speaking with customer service I'm not getting my hopes up. Because if their engineers are as dumb as their customer service reps then I better get use to shooting exposure manually.

You're not the first person to request that feature, and you probably won't be the last.

You can keep your eyes on the Sony Electronics Blog, especially the DSLR Alpha Commentsand theA700 Firmware Upgrade, and maybe even contribute.
