Has anyone been able to use there software with vista 64 home premium. i went to sonys website and saw the drivers but then is say not to put on because Blue screen of death.. i really like taking the raw pics but i have to put them on the desktop to edit them. when i would rather be able to do this in the field to give a copy to customers. from the laptop..

I anguished over this for weeks - so many contentious messages from Sony. Am using Vista Ultimate 64bit.

Eventually I installed only the latest "Image Data Converter" per file "IDS30_Installer0809a.exe". This also installed "Image Data Lightroom".

You don't want to install "Picture Motion Browser". This is the program that is causing all the crashes and it is a separate download.




Everything is good, no crashes, unlike my trial of LR2.3 which is ticking me off. I think it and ACDSee PRO 2.5 do not get a long but am not yet 100% on this.
