Default More than one self-timer shot with alpha350

I own a Sony A350. I would like to make more than on (maybe three or more) photos with one firing from a tripod, so that I could be in the picture as well. It is always a problem that in the group someone is not smiling, etc. A friend of mine did this with his Canon 450. Is this possible with my camera? Thanks for your help.

What you're looking for is an intervalometer, and, no, the Sony doesn't do that all by itself.
  • The lens is the thing.
  • 'Full Frame' is the new 'Medium Format'.

I checked it. In fact in the manual of Canon it is called continuous shooting after self-timer and it is a separate mode, where you can evenset the number of photographs (2-10) to be taken. It would have been useful in the Sony as well.

My suggestion would be (1) consider asking a stranger; or (2) use RM-L1AM Remote Commander (5 metre one) and just fire a few shoots continuously.

Unfortunately, the wireless Remote Commander (RMT-DSLR1) does not work for α350.

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for. On the a330 and a380, in the Drive Mode, there is a setting called C3 which takes 3 shots after 10 sec. There is also a 1 shot after 10 sec.
Hope this helps.
