Default Friend's lens clearout should I?

My friend is having a lens clearout to fund an upgrade to his camera body and I would like your varying expert opinions on whether I should take them off his hands.

He's getting rid of:
Minolta AF 28-85mm (with Macro)
Minolta AF 35-70mm (with Macro)
Sigma AF 28-200mm

I have an A450 with 18-55mm kit lens, Minolta 70-210mm f4 'beercan' and Minolta 50mm f1.7 prime lens.

I'm aware that there's overlaps within themselves and my current lenses, but what will give better results.

The two Minolta lenses are pretty good, but I'd be suspicious of the Sigma. It's old, and it may not AF on your A450.

G'day big4

I would not consider any of them - sorry mate
While Minolta full-frame lenses are known for their sharpness, these are full frame lenses and will be large & heavy ... do you really want this?

I have the 35-70mm and is a really good lens, incredibly sharp and with nice colors.

I don't think it is big or heavy... and it's built like a tank.

The 28-85mm have a more versatile range, but I don't know that lens.
