Does anybody have any experience with the Minolta 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 Zoom Xi ? I looked it up at photographyreview.com but they don't mention the Zoom xi model. Keh.com has it listed and based on the price I'm assuming it's different and not as good as the regular 28-105mm. What is a "Power Zoom" and is this basically the same lens?

Any help would be appreciated!!

Some of the Minolta models had the ability to control the zoom via the camera (versus turning the zoom ring on the lens itself). That feature will not work with a KM DSLR (the lenses will still work, you'll just need to use the zoom ring).

I am not familiar with the optical characteristics of this lens, so I couldn't offer any comments.
