Hello, I have just acquired the Sigma 28-70mm 2.8

Obviously it makes a double employment with the 18-70mm kit, and I have the feeling I won't often make use of the wide angle of 18-70mm.
And does my 28mm 2.8, it become also a little useless not??
What do you recommend to me?

I just got the same lens from KEH for 115 bucks because I was having trouble taking photos of my kids indoors. The 2.8 aperture was really appealing for that price and I'm glad I made the purchase, it's been a big help.

I'm definitely holding onto the kit lens for when I need a real wide-angle. If you look at the cost of getting another decent lens to go wide, it doesn't seem worth parting with it. I say keep it around.

I agree - keep it. The more you grow as a photog the more you'll learn what it can do.
