Effective April 1, 2006, Sony Electronics will be providing service and repair of certain Konica-Minolta products in the United States. Sony is pleased to provide existing Konica-Minolta customers an excellent customer service experience. All terms and conditions of the Konica-Minolta products' limited warranty continue to apply.

Notice of Pending Service Closure for Konica Minolta Products
Sony has been providing customer service for Konica Minolta cameras and related products since April 1, 2006.
As of January 1, 2011, Sony will no longer provide customer service for Konica Minolta products.

I found this out just in time as my 7D has had FFB problems and just this week I sent it in to their suggested repair facility, It will take 2 weeks to get it back but they said it would be fixed for free. Just in time!
