I need a proven teleconverter for my Minolta 70-210 f/3.5-4.5. I thought I found a decent one from Tamron (1.4x AF for Maxxum), but have read mixed posts about the complete functions not working? I have read the Dyxum link from another post, so in theory this converter should work? Also found a Kenko 1.5x DG AF Teleplus; would this function properly? Just need some confirmation or recommedations please.

I have the Tamron 1.4X and have used it successfully on my Tamron 28-300 as well as on shorter lenses. The 1.4 has no chip, so it can't communicate with the camera(shown f stop will be the lens f stop). The 2X does communicate. I have both Tamrons. The Kenco is also a good choice. I have the 70-21- 3.5-4.5, but I haven't had a chance to try the converter on it, but if it works on my other lenses, it should work on the 70-210.
