Question taxes came in........time for new lens

so im wanting to get a new lens.....im interested in the sel18200, and the sel55210.

i like the price of the sel55210, however from what i read the sel18200 is superior, and it seems that the auto focus is a lot quicker.

im mostly shooting around the house, out in the green belt(behind our house) and would like the zoom for the birds and animals i dont want to go near.

what do you guys recommend between the 2?

A bit late to reply.

SEL 18200 has better image quality than SEL 55210. It is, unfortunately, heavier. Which means when you hook it on your NEX-3,5,7, the centre of mass is very much on the lens itself.

If money is not an issue, get the 18200, saving you from changing lenses for wider angles.
