I just picked up a "factory refurbished" f717. I bought one 6 months ago and had to let it go. This one has the new CCD and is in mint condition. I got the camera, extra battery and 4 1 GB memory sticks for $340. I hope this baby works for many years to come without any issues. I sure do love this F2-2.4 lens! Here is a hand held 1/30th sec, ISO 400 shot.

Looks good so far, the F-717 is what I shoot and has done well for me over the 4 years.

Good shooting.:|

Great to see some some more Sony Fxxx seriesowners, a lot of people owned these cameras and now regret selling them to upgrade, except for the R1, no fixed lens Sony has hadthe brilliant Vario-Sonnar lens since. look forward to your imagesto come.
