Default Soy HX1 Question

Muy HX1 takes great pictures every where but indoor sports shots. The picture appears fine on the view screen but is blurring in spots when down loaded. Some suggest I need a lens to let more light in. Is ther such a lens to help me?

I am also a HX-1 user. Because the HX-1 has a fixed lens not an interchangeable lens there is nothing that you can do in terms of a lens. You are limited by the light within the photo environment.

You could try setting your ISO speed higher (you can set the ISO speed up to ISO 3200). The higher the ISO speed, the faster the shutter speeds will be for a given lighting and aperture.

On the downside, you'll have higher noise levels and or loss of detail from noise reduction as ISO speeds are set higher.

So, you'll have to find the best compromise (but sometimes more noise can be better than blur from subject movement).
