Default DSC F828

This is the first time I've ever posted a question on any forum so if I've breached any unwritten rules please forgive me.
I'm not a pro photographer , just an amateur that want to start in the digital photo

I have been shooting pics more than 35 years, my first camera was a Woiglander Besamatic
after bought an other Woiglander Icarex 35 Zeiss lens, after this was other cameras but the
last 20 year I have been shooting pics with Hasselblat 503CW, 2000FCW, 205FCC,
Planar 2.8-80, Sonar 4-180 , Diastagon 4-40 and many others accessories.
All this equipment represents an important back pack.
The field that I use to shoot my pics are in the mountain in climbing sessions or winter sky mountain
Is hard and not flexible, work with this type of heavy camera in a vertical wall ambient.
Now I want to buy my first DigiCam obviously not D-SLR I want a flexible and easy use
camera that take a very good pics.

After a tedious research, read a lot of specs, reviews etc. I arrived to choose two models Sony DSC-F828 and
Minolta Dimage A1.
The problem now, is after read the different opinions in the forums and test reviews I have a big
confusion in my mind, which camera will be better for me?
Please help my to chose the best camera at this moment I'm not able to do.

Many thanks and best regards
