Iam not too familiar with SONY. my question is this. Can my V1 direct print or is it pic bridge compatible.... ??? Iam getting frustrated with SONY. they wont tell me yes or no on this question. is there anything that i can do? If not i will sell my V1 and get a W12. please help me figure this out.

I don't remember reading anything about Pictbridge in the manual so I believe the V1 does not have this compatibility. But as long as you have a PC, having Pictbridge or not is not an issue.

BTW, the W1 is not in the same class as the V1 in terms of camera quality/options.

I don't use picbridge since most of my printer does not support this, I got one canon printer in office with picbridge but I don't use it, my xp do the auto printing for me or I usually edit my pictures first before I print it.

I know that the V1 has some printing capabilities but I never used them. It's in the review mode I think. In the menu, i think it says something about printing and specifying the number you want. I don't know what it does really in the long run, I have never used it.

I get all my shots printed at a local pharmacy place. All new equipment. Great prints.
