Hi, I'm taking a trip down south soon and I'm looking to take some photos on the beach at sunset and other tropical type shots.
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for settings that have worked for them in the past with good results.
I have a little tripod also so low shutter speeds won't be a problem to try. Just want to see if I can get some good ones.

Well, the lighting conditions are always different, but aside from the preset values, I'd go for between 40 - NR2 or more, use the LCD to guide you regarding brightness (select no flash), I found the LCD to be pretty accurate. I also use the self timer to get NO shake since I find a tripod on grass sometimes...
