Default Sony Cybershot P31 sharpness setting?

Which one do you guys use? 0, +1 or +2 and when?

I noticed no difference between any of them myself..
I just bought this camera and I am not real happy with the sharpness.
Close up shots are ok, but anything else seems less sharp then it should be..

I just use 0. I did a test once in which I mounted the camera on a tripod and took the same picture at all of the settings. The plus settings do produce a different looking image, but it's not really better. In general, I don't find that the pictures from this camera are very sharp at full resolution. This is partially due, I think, to my viewing them on a 1024x768 screen. The pictures look fine resized to 1024x768, and I looked at some of them on a 1600x1200 display. They looked better there.
