I bought a T7 along with a512 mb memory stick (pro duo) and I have been having problems with accesing the photos. Every once in a while, the pictures that I have taken seem to be "deleted"; thishappenssometimes several times in one day.

They are gone from the list, meaning you cannot see the file names, however they still occupy the memory space on the stick, and can be mostlyrecovered using a memory recovery program, e.g. Digital Photo Recovery. The largest batch that I have lost is 87 pictures and the new pictures do not continue the file name numbering.

All settings are essentially factory default and I have formatted the disk using the T7 multiple times and the problem persists. I am wondering if anyone here has encoutered the same kind of problem and knows what is going on.

Sounds like a corrupt memory stick. Try using a different memory stick orthe 32MB stick that came with the camera and see if the problem goes away.
