Have a Sony Dsc-S70 camera that is stuck on pc mode. Any suggestions on what is wrong and how to fix it. thanks

Mine did that once back when it was new ... it has now been relegated to in-college daughter's use and works fine while I have moved on to other digital cameras (e.g., F828, 20D).

If I remember correctly, the DSC-S70 does not have a reset button in the battery compartment (if it did, though, that is what I pressed) ... I think I removed the battery and let it sit overnight with no power. When I reinserted the battery the camera worked just fine.

You might try that and see if it works (check first to see if there is a reset "hole/button" in the battery compartment -- it will be marked reset). Also check to be sure the USB connector does not have any dirt/grime in it. Otherwise it is the repair shop or a new one.
