The H5 has 32 Mb of internal memory to buffer it's write to the memory stick. What is the write speed from internal to memory stick? Not considering download speed to my Mac, is it worth the extra $ to buy high speed memory sticks? Will the H5 write to memory any faster than it currently does?

Update: Somewhere in the documentation from Sony it indicates that high speed memory has no advantage. I'd like to hear from members as to whether they enjoy faster memory writes with a high speed card. The price difference, here in Ottawa is approx. 30%.

Cheers from Ottawa, Canada

The Sony web site says that you need the high speed memory stick for 30 fps movie in fine mode.**

It actually says you need a Pro Duo Memory Stickif you want to use 640(fine) movie mode.

I am not sure if you can even buy non pro duo sticks anymore.

There are also High Speed Pro Duos, but whether or not that makes enough difference to warrant the higher price , umm..
