Cool, I don't think we have had any wrestling shots here before so nice to see something different. Personally the 2nd shot is the better one but like the fact that the first one shows the ref (or whatever he is called). Would be interesting to see some shots where they are going down to the floor seeing their facial expressions.

Interesting shots. In my opinion the second one is better. For the first one is your intention for thepoint of interest to be the wrestlers or and crowd although the ref looks to be in focus? I ask this because the wresters are not quite in focus and the crowd is not quite sharp either. I guess it is which you are trying to show. In either case due to the lower light you need to keep DOF in mind. Anyway they are still good shots. Keep shooting and have fun!

Thanks for the comments the first photo is a little bit out of focus. Using center point focus I am still having a problem at acheiving focus. The subject moves (or me) and right before I shot it refocuses. Will keep trying. The first photo is at F 1.4 so short DOF and probably not the best for action photois. Thanks again.

I take a lot of wrestling pictures and it is a very fast paced sport and hard to shoot. I think you did a great job. When possible, facial expressions are great to get and the wrestlers love them. Don't just concentrate on the wrestlers get some of the coaches, team mates, and spectators. I like #2 as well. Keep shooting
