The last meet I covered I was pleased with thelighting and color of the water. The swimmers alldid very well and these pictures feature mostly backstroke and one freestyle.

Dude you have these pretty well nailed now...... I often ask myself what the next steps are in my Hockey photography as I do it so much and want to add something and I guess you are in the same boat. Your slow shutter ones a while ago were cool and a nice change.

Spy,

As usual all are very sharp. I really like 2 & 6 as sports shots though because they show some life from the swimmers. From an artistic sense, I like what you do in your photos, emphasizing the water. But from a sportsshooter standpoint I still prefer the shots where the emphasis is on the participant and not the water. And on the shots where some sense of exertion or energy is there. So, while the rest of the shots here are very sharp, the key subject for me (the swimmer) isn't as interesting as in #2 and #6.

Still, I understand and appreciate trying different things - after all, since swimming is repetitive, I would get really boring having 50 versions of the same exact stroke :-)

Ever give any thought to shooting another sport? Or just don't have the time after all your swimming commitments?
