Dude where were you to get the first one???? That give me vertigo!!!

I love the last one as it is something you don't usually see, did you have a waterproof housing or was there a viewing window?

Apart from the last one 2 and 3 are my faves..... was the girl in number 2 actually looking at you??

Hey Mark, for #1, I was laying down on the dive platform looking over the end. It was kind of freaky 'cause I had to lean out and look backwards as the platform extends further than the blocks. The only regret I had with this shot(17 -85mm 4-5.6) was to not have a wide angle lens (10 - 20mm). Then I would have been able to get more swimmers starting.

With the last shot, there was a viewing window one of the officials told me about that was not open to the public. Have you ever felt that being a photographer is like having a passport that you can gain access to places no one else could have? Not only was the dive platform blocked off from access but the viewing window was also closed.

The girl in number two is my daughter and her style is to breathe to the side in the butterfly.
