Here are a selection of today..... very cool being able to work with a Pro Kitesurfer, just a shame she is about to head to South Africa for 10 weeks and is not taking me with her lol.

Let me know what you think.

Canon 30D, Canon 100-400 L IS (I borrowed this as I wanted better quality this week). All taken handheld at f6.3.

Excellent shots, Mark! I've never had the opportunity to shoot something like this (land locked in Ohio). I really like #3 showing the coast and #7 is framed very well.

Ok. Maybe it's just me, but I actually prefer the shots you posted from 12/28 that were in bad weather.

Her expressions were much more intense, even though the movements were not as spectacular. Also, I generally prefer outdoor action shots on overcast days. There are no harsh shadows, and the lighting is consistant (though that wouldn't really matter here as she's wearing a black wetsuit.)

Thanks guys 5 is the fave (with Jo as well)but I'm really annoyed as the light was not as good as it had been so the shutter was a little slow so there is more movement in the full size (played around with it to make it look OK for here but would not want it in a magazine - OK I would but it is not good enough :blah
