Mark, it looks like you had a good day of shooting. I like #'s 4, 6, 7 and 9 especially the effect of the sun light in #4. Do you provide your shots to a sports mag?

Hi Spy, yes it was a fantastic day shooting with Mark and Jo (see http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=82) as they are both a really good laugh and great at what they do. Some Pros are really up themselves but not these guys, they are also threatening to get me out kitesurfing myself in the summer as I gave up in 2003 after injury and then not being brave enough to fully get back into it..... hmm not sure about that one!

As for the mags I am going to see if they want to use any. The shoot was more for Jo's blog and for me to practise shooting kitesurfing as I hope to bephotographing some competitions this year to submit to mags, however if they want to use any now thenI will gladly let them (Jo has the contacts so is going to pass them to me).

Jo and I are hoping to get out again today to shoot some more however the weather is not looking great so will have to wait and see.

Looks like you got a nice day for it. Number 7 is the "one" for me. I like 5 and 6 as well.

Excellent work.

I notice it's a different lens? Normally these are 70-200 with an extender. How did you find the difference?

I think the other lens is quite a bit better however I have not shot in such good light with the 70-200 with extender so can't say 100%. Not a big fan of the lens changing length when zooming or with the push/pull zoom but apart from that it was pretty good. I have just got back from shooting again today but this time in terrible light so will see what I managed to get, this could be more telling when looking at the differences between the two.

Edit - I'm with you, 7 is my fave just a shame that I was shooting in portrait when I capture that one so had to crop it quite a bit.
