WOW!!! YOU CAUGHT MOVEMENT!!!

My sons used to wrestle. Mostly they just wriggled around a little bit, and when there finally was movement, I missed it and the match was over.

Nice shots.

Hey Tamm, if you download Opanda iExif (it's free) you will be able to right click on images and get the shooting info (assuming it has not been stripped).

Tam,

These were actually taken with the onboard flash and a cheap lens.

Nikkor 70-300G 4-5.6

Ron

It is obvious to me that you know what your doing!

I am a rookie so to speak and shot some wrestling last year for my husband who is the coach for the middle school and wanted some photos for the display case. My son has taken up the sport this year so I will be shooting again.

I am planning to purchase either the 85mm or the 50mm canon lense. I am just torn on which one to purchase. I like the price of the 50mm 1.8 but wonder if I will be unhappy with the reach.

Keep posting the wrestling photos....Its good for me to have something to compare to.

Thanks for the feedback.
