I was invited to shoot a bobsleigh training run at our local bobsleigh track next to the ski hill last night. These sleds are putting out speeds of 120+ km as they pass. No spills this night.

20d, 70 - 200 2.8, non IS, ISO 3200

I was going to compliment you on the excellent shots of the bobsleds.

Then I saw the one of the Snowboard Bowl. Magnificent!

Very nice series of shots in a situation that probably could not be more difficult to shoot due to the huge contrast. How did you meter these? I also like the last shot and it's a perfect example of a landscape taken with a telephoto lens.

You are a fortunate person to get an opportunity to shoot this, the closestwe have in the UK are family fun toboggan runs made of metal lol.
