Another week, another basketball game...and more practice for the photographer. I have been shooting in the same gym every week, but the lights must have cycled and a few of mine were sent into WB ugly. Should have shot a custom WB, but sometimes you just have to learn the hard way.

Please provide C&C as you see fit!

I really like the first one, could be titled "Made first basket, walking on air". 2 & 3 good facial axpressions but would like to see the ball. #4 is a good shot. The only other thing I can suggest is maybe pull back some if you can and take in more of the action.

Thanks for taking the time to provide C&C. I strive to catch the ball leaving the hands but it is tough using the 135mm at the distance I'm at to get much within the frame...even shooting with burst! One moment the ball covers their face as they shoot and in the next frame the ball is gone. You're right though, it would definately improve the shot. The 85mm would really suit me better for the constraints of where I have to shoot from...but for now, I use what I have. One thing is you have to learn to frame tight, you have no choice.:-)

I do have a confession for you k1par, I cropped the last one because I cut off his feet...again.
