Not sure who won the race this night but it was exciting for me non the less! There is another major shoot this Thursday and Friday as the Provincials are on with over 20 sleds racing. 2 man sleds on Thursday finishing with 4 man sleds on Friday.

2 pics to post.

20d, 70 - 200 2.8 non IS, ISO 3200, AV mode, no flash. Sleds at speeds of 120km +

#2. Slowed the shutter down on this one to around 1/160 from approx 1/1000 as above. Wanted to show motion in the rails.

Great job panning! The bobsleds in both are captured beautifully, but I think the handrail in the second one is perfect. Very sharp, but with a great burr along its length.

I have to say that I think panning on a bobsled and shooting at 1/80 second is pretty gutsy, but it turned out very well. I am in awe.

Oh yeah, and... GO KONICA MINOLTA!!!
