OK - I really like the concept of this shot, but the framing is off a bit. The problem is there are 2 major points of interest - your friend and the mountains/ slope to the far right - these points of interest are too far away from each other with dead space in between.

I agree with John on this one. It could actually be two different shots with some keen cropping.

A bit tighther on the action would be better for action.

As is, very well done with the timing and exposure of this shot.

Thanks for the critiques guys, I'll keep them in mind next time I'm out.

Here's one I took last week cat skiing. For some reason I just really like it.

The second one is better. I'd boost the contrast in photoshop to improve the photo.
