Having been inspired by others who just go out and shoot, I did just that last weekend. Found myself with some rare free time soI thought Id give Lacrosse a try. In my neck of the woods, the game is in it's infancy at the peewee level so the refs, coaches, parents were all very accomodating-very refreshing not to have to fight "the people in charge". Hope you enjoy them and as always, help me learn about shooting this exciting sport.

Very nice job here..... as I mentioned in a previous lacrosse topic I'm not usually inspired by the work done by people shooting it however I like these as you have the intensity in the eyes as well as action with the ball.

I'm not sure that I'm that good but do enjoy shooting sports and sharing what I know. I had guessed it was the Cricket that inspired you and sometimes it is good to get out and shoot just because you can.

I'm with Mark on this. Normally I just can't get interested in Lax shots. But these shots are really well done. Very sharp and you can see the faces well (and the expressions that go with them). And excellent subject isolation - tight crops and blurred backgrounds. Great job.

WooHooo. 2 compliments from the Photo Gods! LOL. Dont mean to make you uneasy, just really value your opinions because I truly think highly of your skills. Thanks for the kind words. As far as isolation, I owe it all to the refs and coaches for allowing me unlimited access-I just pushed the button.

Thanks oldtime. Just saw your awesome shots-truly appreciate the compliment. Even though its "peeweee" I had a blast shooting it and am looking forward to an attempt at the high schoolers.
