I went along with a good friend of mine and his daughter. Her school was having a carnival of sorts so I took my D40 with the 18-200mm VR II. I tried different settings of all kinds just to see how the camera would perform.

Looks like a fun day out and lovely weather as well. I like the first two where you have the ball just leaving the hand. The last one is also good as you have got the point of contact..... did you get any where they were just falling off?

Thanks Mark and John for looking and commenting. It was a blast for the kids and I unfortunately did not get one falling off. In hindsight I wished I did but got out from behind the camera and watched them pummel each other but good.

Watching the little ones toss those balls and bean bags was cute as heck.

i am actually partial to #3! it's nicely framed! they're all good, but i find 3 to be a really interesting photo!
