Thanks John. Keep shooting and you'll get there faster than you think. Your shots are already a huge improvement over the first images you displayed. Mostly because you were open minded about accepting suggestions for improving.

Having said that, I'm still dismayed whenever I compare my shots to some of the true pro shooters (there are a number on Fred Miranda's sports forum). There's one shooter over there - Paul Alese that does some very amazing work. And it's easy for people to say - "well, if I had $10,000 woth of equipment I could get shots like that" - sorry, not true.

Anyway, thanks for the positive words and keep shootin!

John wonderful pictures. Do you use unsharp mask on your sports photos? All, some, none? Thanks for your time John, your pictures are inspirational.

Yes I do apply USM to all my sports shots. And thank you for the compliment!
