Looks to me like you're learning to use that new lens quite well. Nice shots. Composition is attractive and timing of action is really good. The one shot I had a question on was the one that was what looked to me like a safety (Looks like the QB was trying to stretch the ball out of the end zone). The two players standing and watching detracted from what would have been a great shot. I think my favorites were numbers 3 & 7.

trojansoc,

The shot you are refering to is a Touchdown



The reciever is diving for the endzone.

You will notice that the ball is in the endzone and the rest of his body is off the ground. It was a contrevercial play as the other team felt that his knees hit the ground.



This was printed in the local paper with a tighter crop to show the knees in the air.

ahhh.....I see now, Ron. For some reason, my brain wanted to turn the play around put him in the end zone, trying to get out....even though my interpretation makes no sense when I look at it again. I'd call it premature Alzheimer's except I'm getting old enough now that some might question the word premature.
