Took my newly acquired K10d to the lake to test out it's action performance. WOW, this thing focuses so much quicker than thePentax *istDS that I had, even my wife noticed the difference when I let her snap off a few shots. The huge buffer is a big help too! I was shooting with my Sigma 100-300 f/4.5-6.7 because my Sigma APO 70-300mm has not arrived yet. All these shots were cropped and resized and some have had minor levels adjustments, but other than that, these are straight from the camera. As always, C&C welcomed!

Glad you are enjoying your new camera and you have taken some interesting shots here.

I think fishing shots could be interesting if you get out on amarlin boat as one of those bad boys jumps

My faves are the jet ski, 2 is good (helped by the girl driving) and 3 is great, a lovely example of slow shutter work.

Looking forward to seeing more work from your new camera!!

3&4 are very nice shots!

Glad you're having fun - that's what it's all about!

I really like number 3. The colours in the photos are very good for straight out of the camera.

Thanks for all the comments, I was actually suprised how well #3 came out. I have never been really good at panning, and never really practiced it all that much.
