Nice shot TD. Im shooting a TON of 7th grade football right now and Im loving it. Id recommend you crop close in on the tackle, eliminating the extraneous action. It took me a while to do this myself because I liked to capture the blocking that went on around the action also. But, in forcing myself to focus in on the main action, as per John and Mark's instructions, my compositions became that much stronger. As a matter of fact I was able to get2 separate photos out of one yesterday. Each one stronger on its own than as a whole, if that makes sense. Im not sure I understand whats going on with the IQ. Did you sharpen then crop for upload? Usually USM should be the final step, right before saving. Id love to see more.
