Well, most of our games were rained out on Friday. We stood in the pouring down rain on a college field where the lighting, compared to a standard HS field, was awesome. The only time it stopped raining was at half time, so needless to say we never got our cameras out.

This is one of the games that was played on saturday afternoon. Man what a difference daylight makes.

I have not done any type of processing except for cropping and adding the website logo.

hi redop,
your photos are great, you have excellent timing.
i wish i had that timing for football!
anyway they seem a little soft, i don't know
if its from you cropping, or the f4 aperture.
for sports 2.8 is usually theway to go. you
did have an 800 iso and some very fast shutter
speeds anywhere for 1/4000 - 1/8000.
so i am not sure, but they look good!

Thanks for the reply. Yea, I have found that timing, angle, distance and lighting are hard to come by in football.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Do you think all of the pictures are soft? How would I change this, changing the ISO ?
