Took delivery this week of a new lens for shooting football. Still unable to find, or afford, a long f2.8 for the Pentax, I settled for improving my 135mm, switching to an f2.5 135 MF Takumar. What we got was faster shutter speeds and less noise because less had to be done in post processing.

(Credit where credit is due: Since this was a home game, one of my assistants had my camera on the sideline. )

This one is not quite as sharp, but I loved the timing.

I noticed your are in Hot Springs Ar, I have 2 granddaughters that live in Hot Springs, They have lived there for several years now. They really like it there.
