Dude...youre the king of capturing "the moment". I reference your tennis shots with the strings bending from the ball- I still envision that shot when I drive past the tennis courts. Great timing on this one as well. Curious as to what youre shooting and if its a rapid fire camera. My D1X's 3 frames per minute and day late and a dollar short AF system doesnt allow me to shoot rapid fire, esp if the action is coming towards me....Very envious of you guys, until my D3 comes in, then I can join you!!!

hi DRGSin,

well the tennis shots i didn't use burst mode, i actually timed my shots, it is easy anyone could really do it. you just sit in the middle and pick one player and you can really time it! now with the kids lately i have used burst mode , only because sometimes i'll time the shot, then right after something even better happens and my camera won't recover fast enough. but thanks for the compliment!! i appreciate it!!

I haven't had too much luck with headers this year. Every op seems to either be missed by the player or outside my range.
