I like the last two. Shows the face and if lightened a tad bit would be better. The last one with the "front grab" is very kewl.

The ones captured a bit tighter were the better shots but the other shots gave some perspective as well.


EDIT: Guess I forgot to remember that I liked the second one as well. Great shot of face, and water spray.

Great shots, I'm not used to seeing the horizon line so low in the frame! I really enjoy #14. (I'd try cropping the extra kite out of the frame). Interesting how for kiting the distant shots come out really nice because you get the kite and sailor in the frame. I have opportunity to shoot this sport and I never thought of that.

Thanks vIZnquest,

Yes I know where you're coming from - lightening the faces some more (I already did a bit) would help highlight the surfers and their expressions.... and the closer shots capture the "action" side of it more...
