Xiao Li, I'm always glad to see pictures of the Purple Bruins (I'm a former UCA sports broadcaster.) I watched most of that game on TV. They had afantastic season to be in only their second year of 1-AA football.

Your second shot is remarkable considering your f-stop and shutter speed. The first one shows the problem with having that high of an f-stop and low shutter speed, lots of motion blur. Even though the lights in Estes Stadium are quite good, your photos will dramatically improve if you can bring your shutter speed up and your f-stop down.

Thanks, Trojansoc. That definitely was a fun game to watch (and to be on the field taking pictures of). Sports photography, especially night football games, is not my specialty, though it is always fun to try. The second shot pleased me as well... I don't know how long he could pose for me in that position, but apparently it was long enough to get the stop-action.

Former UCA sports broadcaster, eh? small world, haha... I'm currently a UCA student.

Thanks again for the comments.
