Hi, covered the H.V first team today!, what a weather mix, most of the game was shot in galeforce winds with driving rain, but every now and then the sun broke out???. So if some of the shots look noisy, there not it's the bloody rain:sad:. LOL.

C&C welcome (but on past postings not expected). Kind regards Graham.

Graham, I like 7 &9, you can tell the sun came out!

What lens do you use?

Never tried soccer before, maybe soon when I get a 70-200.

Cheers Dave

Graham,

You've got some nice timing here. But I think the rain played a lot of havoc with your focus and the end resolution. Or are you shooting with a TC? That also can add to the issue - especially in less than ideal weather conditions.

If you're using the TC my advice is too ditch it in bad conditions and just be patient. It's hurting your sharpness.

Thanks for the comment Dave, I was using a 70-200mm f2.8 with a 1.4 converter. Look forward to seeing your shots.

John your spot on with your assessment, there where a number of shots with perfectly sharp rain drops:lol:, I will indeed heed your advice and ditch the converter, Thanks!. Kind regards Graham.
