Thanks for the critique John! Always trying to improve.

"Dust issues", what is the best way to remedy this? Professional cleaning?

I always try and keep my camera and lenses covered and clean. But I have been seeing the "white flecks in a few of my photos lately.

Here's one I really liked. The guys name is Mike Rogers, a two-time cancer survivor and president of the "Grind For Life" fund. Like you said about all the distractions with the people around, this was late at night just Mike skating and me shooting.

Maybe a little too much flash?

hi timinator,

nice work, i do agree with johng, the butt thing but i do understand what you were trying to get! also i have been wanting to try the strobe setup, i don't have an on camera strobe, i will try my studio strobe i like the way it isn't as hard of a flash as the 430 or 580. not that its soft but just seems to look better. what is the exif of your shots? i see a little blur even in daylight. anyway, nice job!

Well....I really didn't think a whole lot about the mans butt thing, just trying to capture the "looking down into the bowl" thing. Now if I could've got the Hooter girl in the same pose it woulda been better? No?

Man, I wish the kids in the skatepark by my house could do some of that, Id have a blast! Alot of great shots in that group. My mainsuggestion would be to blur out the background, way too distracting in all of these. I actually do like the 1st one because its such a different perspective. As far as the Hooters girls...cant make up my mind, need more samples!
