After all the rainy soccer, baseball, and softball posts recently, I thought I'd share a little sunny volleyball action from yesterday.

It's great to be in (North) Carolina in the spring!

All shot with Canon 350D (Rebel XT), 85mm (or 50mm) F/1.8 (at 2.8), ISO 100. C&C welcome as always..

(edit to remove watermarks and increase size)

I suggest ditching the watermark for photos you want critique on. I understand the need for it in a public gallery. But these aren't original size and no one here is going to steal your photos. And it's distracting.

Just my opinion though. Others may feel differently

Sorry about the distraction. I've edited the original post to include links to non-watermarked and larger size images. While I was at it, I increased saturation a bit as well..

There is one shot that really stands out in these and that's number 2 by a long way.

I've only ever shot VBall in gym so would love to get some beach shots in.

In #3, there appears to be a purple halo effect around the front of the white t-shirt. Anyone know what this is?
