Hi All,

Something a little different to share today.

I was out doing a lot of other things and drove past one of the local RC flying clubs so stopped in for a chat (I used to fly and still have some 'toys') and took the chance to grab some shots.

Nothing too exciting going on (I used to like to run the patch inverted at a few feet) but it was still entertaining.

Enjoy,

Mark

Mark, I like #2 the best, really sharp.

Was the 70-200 used or another lens?

Thanks and I agree it's my fave.

Nope, the 70-200 wouldn't give the range, these were with the 120-300mm f2.8 with 1.4x TC.

Great shots. That looks like fun, and I see you were trying to keep the shutter speeds slow enough so that you didn't stop the props. Cool.

But, who are you and what did you do with Mark (the bearded guy using member name Mark1616 that used to have his photo displayed here as an Avatar)?
:-)

I've had a beard for years, and it drives me nuts (espcially when my moustache starts to get a bit too far over my upper lip if I don't trim it often enough). But, my wife likes it. Otherwise it would have been gone a very long time ago. lol
