These were taken with my Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D and my Minolta 70-210mm f/4.0 (Beercan).

Yes, I need a faster lens and faster continuous shooting. It's time for an A700 and a 70-200/2.8.

I like the blurring of the legs in the 2nd to last shot. I think it adds a sense of "action".

Thanks. I agree. Because the shutter speeds were so slow,the only keepers I've got are when they were slowing down for the turn in the corner when they were coming toward me where the light was better. #6 is of a 'Flying Change', but at 1/40th, it's only barely acceptable.

great work! can you bump the iso higher? i see you used 800.

i have been trying to shoot some horses, but it seems like the folks around here don't ride them much! i call the barn quite a bit, i always seem to miss them.
