Recent Grasstrack Racing event at Pickering. Weather was raining, then sunny and we were only able to get to one side of the track, so sun was behind.

C&C welcome

Great shots. I like the last shot especially with the Jawa racing bike.

Great work and good handling of the nasty lighting conditions.

As already said, great panning technique in #2 at 1/40s, a great result and it proves that going to the more extreme settings is well worth it!

Oh btw, the 2nd shot also shows you have some dust on the sensor up and right of shot, so when looking at the sensor this is down and left and there is also some on the right edge and down so this is left edge and up :-)

Good work. I will agree with everyone else on #2 but I also like #4 quite well. You can see the intensity and concentration in the eyes of the riders. Well done.

Thanks for all your comments, greatly appreciated.

It was a local club meeting so had plenty of time to experiment with different settings. Pleased with #2 although I had about 40 not so good, but that's the beauty of digital :-)

Airbrushjohn, it doesn't stay grass too long especially with the sidecars and where I was standing, I got most of it - this isn't the best picture, but shows what gets thrown up!

Mark, thanks for the comments and the sensor information. I got covered in an earlier Autograss racing session, and thought I'd sorted it. Maybe time to get it done properly, as DIY does cause me some nightmares!

Lesmore49, most seem to prefer the Jawa engine, although I have to confess I'm not too up on the technicalities of bikes!

Thanks again for your comments everyone.
