That's definitely a keeper, I really like it The colors and use of dof are pleasing to the eye and shows off well that kind of racing. Good job.

That is a great shot! I love low angle action shots. Was that taken from the infield or outside?

Also what camera, lens, settings?

A nice shot, well exposed and I really like the depth created with the 4 riders/bikes. The only thing lacking is sharpness, I'm not sure if it is the PP or if focus was just off.

Do you have any more from the day?

Thanks PhotoCarp. I used a Nikon D300 w/sigma70-200 f2.8 and 2x converter. The settings was 1/1250 f8 iso400. I had a media pass (it's nice to have friends in high places) so I was outside of the track at turns 3 and 4.

Thanks Mark. I don't think it is the pp it may be slightly out of focus. In this turn the bikes were popping over a small rise and coming almost strait at me at about 100mph plus. I'm still leaning this camera and this is my first try at motorcycle racing. Hey, I had alot of fun. I do have a lot more from Friday and Saturday. Saturday's should be posted by tonight. The pictures may beseen at http://public.fotki.com/sepruett/road-atlanta/thanks again.

Steve

Can only agree with everyone else, excellent picture and superb timing to get them all in their different positions.
