All with Canon EOS 1Ds MarkII, EF 100-400 f/4.5-5.6, ISO 400
I crop them to 4x6 for selling and the ability to crop down to 5x7 or 8x10 without losing the subjects.

All comments and suggestions are welcome.

Some nice action and decent exposure. I think the re-size for posting must be making them look a bit less sharp than they are as the 100-400 at 7.1 should be tack sharp.

The biggest issue with these is the backgrounds - very distracting. 7.1 is just too narrow of an aperture for good subject isolation.

I agree with John get that aperture open as wide as possible to sort out the backgrounds and keep things tightly framed to get the best sharpness and to get rid of the backgrounds.

I like 6 and 8 best!
