OK, it took me long enough but I finally got out. A little rusty but it was good to get back into the game. As always, C&C welcome:

Great work as always John. #2 is my favorite. Super sharp and great action. You can see the focus on the ball-carrier's eyes..

Sweet stuff there, John. I looks like they have better lighting than they have at the fields I've shot here in NJ.

I love #1. Almost looks like he wants to say "No you don't. It's mine."

As to better lighting - once the sun goes down it's ISO 3200, 1/400 and 2.8. How much worse is the lighting in NJ?

LOL. About that bad I guess. It just seems that the bg has plenty of light in these shots. Your other flash ones are a different story.

For the game I have to shoot this week they are bringing in temporary lighting to an unlit field. They use the type of lights that they use for night time road construction that are self contained on trailers and have gennies.
