Lots of action and very little time to shoot it, or even think about where to point your camera!

Great shots, Greg!

Unfortunately #6 does not open, and I miss some basic Exif-data. Really difficult to say which is my favorite, all are good in their own way. You have captured all the essential ingredients of horse-racing. Not that I am an expert of that, but your pictures are just great.

I'll choose #1 and #2 for texture of horse-muscles and power / strenght.

Definitely #4 for dramatic setting and composition. In #5 one can hear the thunder of hoofes approaching. Just beautyful! Love those shots!

Sorry for any spelling errors - I miss the old spell-check we had in the old software...

Edited: Now I know, my favorite is #1 it amde the bigges impression on me!

Wonderful pictures....would make great illustrations for Dick Francis novels...some of the best horse racing pix I've seen.

What equipment and settings did you use to capture these great action shots...
